Sunrise Smiles

Happy faces after the 6 am Easter sunrise service. We got up at 4:30 and STILL had to race down the road to get there by 6. Still a little early after all these years for me, but Betsy was so adorable as we emerged from church into the light and she breaks out with "The sun is UP...it is MORNING...!" Only could have been cuter if she'd broken into the chorus of "Morning Has Broken". Pancake breakfast afterwards, and then home for a quick picture before the kids start to dive into their candy. Happy Easter to all! Kristin, John, and the kids.

As I write this you are probably dealing with some very sugar-crashed kids. . . .good luck with that!!
Sounds like a beautiful morning

hope your Easter was good!
Be DIM at dawn!!

Kristin, they all look adorable. What a great photo of such beautiful children. I don't know how you got them all dressed up in their Easter outfits so early!! I hope you had a lovely rest of the day!

and what amazes me is this is AFTER services. . . i would have expected a little more disheveled look--and based on our own history--at least a FEW pinchmarks!
They really are appropriately angelic looking
I wish you had a video of Betsy announcing the morn!
Did Millie bring her back down to earth with some practical observation? I hear that is what she likes to do!

and wait a minute--i just reread the post--this is also after a PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Where are the syrup stains? Where are the sticky fingerprints on their clothes and faces?
Did you photo shop this picture?
