Actually, I don't know the exact words for the rest of that song...something something penny in the old man's hat? I'll have to look into that. Or, it could be just the intro Danny needs to jump back in and make a reappearance since he is Mr. Christmas Carol.
Calvin's become quite a chunk lately though. This was the best I could get of all 4 spur of the moment. Hopefully I'll get a little better one on Christmas Eve.
Pics of the kids pre-Christmas Cantata at church on Sunday evening. Jack and the girls sang with the children's choir for a song and Calvin played baby Jesus. Calvin was a perfect baby Jesus as long as Mary kept a little bounce in her step (I was not Mary, and John was singing in the choir, so Mary and Joseph were on their own with him). The kids did as well as could be expected for 5 and 3 year olds who are singing a song that is not Jingle Bells or Feliz Navidad (Maureen, that's actually one of their top 3 favorites. Their butchering of the Spanish language is painful to listen to, but they love it anyways).
Hopefully will have some great photos and stories to post from the big morning in a few days....

Adorable!!!! Merry Christmas to all!
He was probably the most robust baby Jesus folks have seen in a long time!
very cute
I think i have to return the outfit i got him for a different size,. . . .
Jack and the girls, as always, look charming.
the girls look quite amused with jack and calvin in teh second shot!
talk to you soon--can't wait to hear stories from the big day!
be dim or be donner (it's the best i can do in a hurry!)
They look perfectly adorable & ready to burst into silliness the moment the camera has been put down. You can see Christmas anticipation written all over their faces. Except maybe Calvin, he looks like he's thinking about his next meal! Merry Christmas & love to all. :)
I agree with susan--the change from the first to the second picture tells it all. . . .
first picture: perfect poses
second picture: still adorable, but not quite as in control! Millie looks about ready to make a break for it, and if jack weren't holding calvin I think he'd be off too! Betsy's face is saying "mom, really, did you think we could hold that formal pose together for TWO pix!!!"
SO CUTE
Be DIM or be 'dorable!
