So I figured since I have been somewhat missing from the blog lately, I would make a post to reestablish myself. Since it has been a while, I also figure it would only make sense to somehow make fun of my father again, since that is how Megan and I got started in bloggin wars. I only do this because as I was looking through all the picture of thanksgiving where everyone was smiling, I find only one picture of my dad and this was it. For a family holiday like thanksgiving, you would think he would be in happier spirits, but looking at his face he appears to be thinking "You better put that camera down before I ground you for a month!" This is the same face we have all seen in my family when he is mad and about to punish you, maybe its because we were capturing more proof of his "natural weight." The last thing I will note is that we were all wearing black pants and white shirts for a big family group picture, hence my father's attire. But if you look closely, you can see he decided to wear tennis shoes, when EVERYONE else wore nice dress shoes. So in all of our family portraits you can blatantly see his running shoes, maybe this is why he is so mad. Or maybe he is trying to convince us all that he is still running on a regular basis. Whatever it is, I'm sure I will hear about it for once again making him the target of ridicule on the Mahoney family blog. Sorry ahead of time dad, but I had to make a reappearance and posting happy smiling faces of everyone at thanksgiving just didn't seem quite as fun.

Michael, are you looking for the old lump of coal in your stocking? lol
I was upset because someone ate the last piece of apple pie! I think it was Michael.
welcome back michael! We missed you! You are one of the "core bloggers!" We can't have you dropping out for that long.
in fact, i heard that someone said the other day 'oh this is no fun, megan is the only one posting."
after i tried to get over being insulted, i had to admit, when it's just me, it gets boring
anyway. . .
kevin, the idea of you grounding anybody cracks me up.
Oh the stories we could tell you kids. . .
but we won't.
As much as i love my nieces and nephews, the brother/ sister code of silence is stronger. You must know that, becuase you have brothers and sisters! (Besides, most of the stories I could tell about Kevin would implicate me as well!)
Kevin, what possessed you to wear running shoes?
You could have switched to one of those art style photos where everyone has bare feet. . . .but sneakers when everyone else is in dress shoes?
I think Michael is right. I think he is trying to perpetuate the idea that he is still running.
Be DIM or be deluded
