News from India

Hi everyone, My work here is almost finished for now. I have definitely been outside my comfort zone for over 2 weeks now. They say that is supposed to make a person grow. I don't know, but it has certainly opened my eyes and made me think a lot about life. There are over a billion people here and sometimes I feel like I have seen them all on the streets. There are so many people that it is unfathomable how there is any organization. We visited the Taj Mahal and it was awesome. But the drive there from Delhi was over 4 hours and wretched (to use one of Jamie's accurate adjectives!) The roads are kind of awful and we had 9 people in a 6 passenger vehicle. But it was so worth it!! I am going to try and upload some representative photos of my trip. Many more to come. lol. I hope you are all well. Love, Maureen

great pictures. my friend eric has spent time in India and has talked about the poverty. inspite of their conditions your pictures show beauty and joy, and the work of your organization i'm sure brings a measure of hope.

I don't know about growth, but i'm bet it will be life changing. be careful of the elephants!

love, Kevin
