This is why parents don't look forward to their kid's day off from school....
Amazingly, with 4 of them running around the house all day, it took me about an hour before I even realized there was something amiss....
I know, you're asking yourself, "How do you miss THAT for an hour?". I did.
Jack holding a pair of scissors should have been a clue.....
Figuring out how it happened wasn't too difficult. When asking Betsy what happened to her hair, Jack started blurting "It wasn't me, It wasn't me."
Though I have at least a few talents, haircutting is not one of them. It took me about 2 minutes to realize that as I started trimming to "even it up" a bit. A late night trip to the local hair cuttery got Betsy her "new hair" as she calls it. Katie should have been here THIS WEEKEND.
Hoping you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and everyone keeps their hair today in your house!

She looks adorable with her "new hair"! What a shock it must have been. I remember when Jeffrey cut Katie's bangs down to the hair line two days before Easter (and family pictures). He insisted Katie made him do it! Never a dull moment with kids!
her new hair is very cute.
no braids for a while
so jack doesn't exactly have a future in high-stakes poker. . .
and what did millie have to say about all of this?
If you blow the picture up it looks like Betsy is giving a "thumbs up" sign and has a lollipop in her hand. Maybe this was all premeditated.
