This was so funny. We laughed ahead of time about how impossibly outrageous it would be if we were still planning the route stations at 11pm the night before the race. Sure enough we finished at 11pm. Our family is so outrageous!
I especially liked Dan's high tech approach to shedding some light on the map!
This is too funny. I remember at the pre-race event they talked about not staying up until 11:00pm planning your route - that is why I left early. I'm glad you stayed up - it was a real encouragement seeing you at the different mile markers.
However I did wonder where everone went after mile marker 18? The last 8.2 were the hardest. Maybe you should have stayed up until midnight.
Maureen, "sneak off for a Starbuck"... I think you mean, "sneak off for a Guinness".
