The birthday boy is snugly settled on the couch with his laptop as we watch the debate, as painful as it is now to watch.
Since he won't post himself - I'll share that we had our own little family dinner (I did NOT poison anyone - thus far ayway) and cake/presents. Aidan proudly wrote his own name & his father's on his superhero card. Eleanor watched in awe as the "trick" candles threatened to set off the fire alarm making a rather odd ending to the video of Cagatay blowing out the candles. We've got a big date planned for Saturday night with Mom coming over to babysit.
He says his favorite part of his birthday was us at the end day (sans the firey cake I suspect). As part of my birthday gift to him, I'll post his thanks for everyone's kind wishes. He seems busy over there on his laptop, maybe he's working on a program to stop 40 from coming. Hmmmm.......
