Danny is on the case. He may need to be: It is reported that the gentleman said to Mom and Dad "ooh, hope that doesn't cost you too much to fix!" After the police took his report, it seems he realized his faux pas and made statements indicating he is more aware of his financial responsibility than he at first indicated.
I know mom is going to correct the way I told this story. Hey, whatever gets her commenting!

Megan, thank you for the news about Mom and Dad and the fender bender. I am glad everyone was fine. I hope they get all that sorted out and all is well. Are you sure you are not somewhere "in spirit"?
We are doing well here. However, at this altitude, the oxygen is scarce. In fact, Bruce woke me up during the night to make sure I was breathing since I was breathing too quietly!!
Kind of on the home stretch here. We go to one of the Uros Islands in Lake Titicaca tomorrow for a one night homestay. Also, I got to pet a baby vicuña today!
BTW, did I tell you that I put the earring behind a rock in a stone wall at Machu Picchu?
Hope everyone is well. Love, Maureen and Bruce
Mom and Dad are absolutely fine--no code at all
so cool about the earring!
(however, i read an article today about a wall at machu picchu that had suddenly and inexplicably collapsed --because of the interconnectivity of all the structures, stairways, walls etc they are losing new pieces of the structures each day--a domino effect they fear threatens the entire ancient city. . . . coincidence?
your itinerary has a link for people to see what homestay is like. Also a pic of full moon over lake titicaca right in the post
try to snore
i will post a pic of a vicuna--now i have to see if i can find a vicuna puppet
was it a rare and beautiful baby vicuna?
why are all the animals you see babies?
sorry it is drawing to a close--it sounds like an amazing experience
i bet you will still be glad to get home
enjoy the remaining days there
be DIM or be at high altitude!
